Simone Pinamonte (Chief Technical Officer)

Simone is part of the Hideal Partners group since 2010 as senior project manager and Chief Technical Officer, where he was involved in the development and construction of a number of wind farms in Italy for approx. 100 MW.

Simone contributed to RENAM set-up and growth, by managing 140 MW of PV plants and 110 MW of wind plants, as well as providing technical support services for construction (project management and construction supervisor) and advisory activities (technical due diligences).

Simone was also involved in the creation of the partnership between RENAM and Tages, which brought to the creation of the “Helios Fund” and of Delos Power, holding and managing as of today more than 200 MW of PV plants in Italy. Simone currently sits in the Board of Directors of Delos Power.

Simone began his career as a technical manager in companies operating in the field of environment and gas to energy management, and has designed, developed, built and managed biogas plants with energy production and heat recovery for about 10 MW in Italy. Simone also gained a significant experience in the renewable energy sector in Italy, being involved in the design and building of nearly 20 PV, hydroelectric and wind plants in different regions of Italy.

Simone graduated in environmental engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan and holds a Master in Business Administration from Bocconi University.

Davide Romano (Head of Asset Management)

Davide has almost 15 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector, with particular focus in development, operation, maintenance and asset management of wind and solar energy plants. During his career he has gained significant experience dealing with a wide range of critical issues, from the technical to the administrative/financial side, taking also care of legal/contractual aspects and managing customers, suppliers and internal staffs.

Davide began his career as developer and asset manager of renewable energy plants in Repower Italia and then moved as asset manager of large portfolios of plants (approx. 700 MW) in E2i Energie Speciali (F2i/Edison).
Davide graduated in environmental engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan.

Mariagrazia Gatto (Finance Director)

Mariagrazia has been dealing with accounting matters over the last 25 years, first as a professional of an accountancy firm and then as member of the finance & accounting team of big corporations, covering all tax and accounting aspects, from the bookkeeping to the preparation of the financial statements and tax returns.

Mariagrazia joined the Hideal Partners Group in 2012 and she has been involved in the set-up of RENAM, contributing significantly to its growth and structuring the organization of the accounting department.

Mariagrazia started working in 2006 at Babcock & Brown, an investment bank active the renewable energy and real estate sector in Italy, as financial controller for the infrastructure assets.

In her career, Mariagrazia dealt with tax and accounting aspects related to the development of renewable energy plans, from the construction phase to the operation. She was as well involved in extraordinary activities related the acquisition or sale of assets.


Riccardo Riverso (Chairman)

Riccardo Riverso has more than 20 years’ experience in the origination and execution of complex transactions in a number of European countries, having led a number of projects in the following industries: power and gas (generation, transmission and distribution), renewable energies, water cycles and other infrastructures (motorways, ports and airports).

Prior to becoming Chairman of RENAM, Riccardo was part of the team which established Babcock & Brown’s Italian activities in 1993, where he spent fifteen years in the European Infrastructure and Project Finance Team.

Previously, he spent two years in the Corporate Finance Team at Nomura International plc, in London and Milan, where he was involved in a number of M&A transactions in the food and retail sectors. Before Nomura, Riccardo spent two years in the Corporate Finance Department of Coopers & Lybrand in London, where he was involved in several assignments in hostile takeover support cases and LBOs.

Riccardo graduated from Università Bocconi di Milano with a degree in Corporate Finance.

Marco Pino (Co-Managing Director)

Marco Pino has acquired over 15 years’ experience in Administration and Finance in multinationals and has held the position of CFO for over 10 years in the companies he has worked in.

During his career, Marco Pino has acquired numerous skills in the administrative, accounting and fiscal fields, related to infrastructure projects, together with considerable experience on matters related to Italian and international companies. He has taken part in numerous M&A transactions related to infrastructure and real estate assets, contributing to analyses of the specific administrative, fiscal and financial elements of such transactions in the due diligence stage. He is the CEO and a partner in Hideal Partners, and CEO in Delos Power the joint venture between Renam and Tages Helios Fund. He has previously worked for Babcock & Brown where he was CFO for Italy, and Goldman Sachs where he was Financial controller of real estate portfolios.

Marco Pino holds a degree in Economics from Università di Palermo and a Master in Corporate Finance from Università Bocconi di Milano.

Roberto Massarenti (Co-Managing Director)

Roberto has almost twenty years of experience in the infrastructure sector with particular focus in energy and renewables, of which he has an in-depth industry knowledge. Roberto has been involved in each stage of the life of a project: from preliminary feasibility studies, to the development, the construction, the financing and the daily management, having also structured and led M&H transactions sell side and buy side. Roberto has been responsible also for the management of 420MW of wind energy projects in Spain.

Prior to joining the Hideal Group, Roberto spent a decade in the Babcock & Brown European Infrastructure Team, where he was heading the analysts’ team. His key responsibilities have included, inter alia, complex financial analysis, due diligence, structuring and execution of project finance and M&A activities. Previously, Roberto spent five years in the Techint Group.

Roberto graduated from Bocconi University in Milan, with a degree in Economics, and completed the MIP course at the Milan Polytechnic.
